Thank you for your interest in bValue.  Below we present the privacy rules we follow. The privacy policy describes under what circumstances we collect personal information, what kind of data it is and what happens with it.

When we refer to we, us, or bValue in this privacy policy, we mean interchangeably BVG Adviser sp. z o.o. and bValue Starter sp. z o.o. with a business address at Pulawska 2, Warsaw (02-566), which are the entities that receive and control the data you provide to us. We are committed to act in a responsible manner and make sure we are partner of trust when we are provided with personal data. We do not sell any information we collect nor do we share it with third parties without your express consent. Third parties who have access to the data are the service providers we use to securely store our data or if it is required by applicable law. We process the personal data based on your consent and in relation to the usage of our website, with intention to offer the best possible experience on our website, and to keep it secure.

bValue website may be accessed anonymously. We do not use cookies other than Google Analytics (for details see below). Apart from the information stored and processed by Google Analytics, it is technically possible for us to access and collect your IP address and selected other information like your operating system, browser ID, browsing activity, through our web hosting provider.

When pitching to us an investment opportunity via email, the data provided should serve only as the basis for our review and further discussions regarding potential investment by bValue. The use of the data you provide will depend on the progress and direction of our review and discussions with you.

It is possible to contact us for purposes other than to pitch an investment opportunity using the email address provided on our website. When interacting via email we get a sender’s email address and information which she/he chooses to provide. The acquired data is only used to the extent required to process the inquiry and it may be used for internal statistical purposes.

bValue website may allow for job applications to be submitted. In such cases providing the personal information is voluntary. Irrespective of the transmission form (questionnaire, email or other), the application and the personal information will be accessed and processed by bValue human capital department and/or employees who may be assigned to recruitment process. All provided data will be stored in our database in a password-protected unencrypted form. The data will only be utilized for processing the application and will not be shared with third parties outside the bValue group companies other than data storage providers (like Google drive) or recruitment tools without your express permission. If you are employed or otherwise retained by bValue, we will only store, process and share personal data with third parties such as social security agencies as is necessary in connection with the cooperation relationship.

If we decide not to establish an employment or advisory relationship, we may inquire if you would like your resume to be included in our Talent/Advisors Pool database. Upon receiving your consent, your resume and certain other information may be accessible to our portfolio companies and potentially other users of the database. If the recruitment process terminates without you being either employed or otherwise retained by bValue, the corresponding data will be deleted within the period stipulated by applicable law unless you expressly agree that we retain your information. If you are in the bValue Talent/Advisors Pool you can always request that we remove it at any time. We may use third party data processors for the storage and processing of personal data only if the data processor has committed to data protection standards which provide at least the protection level that we adhere to.

The bValue website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are data files placed on your computer to support analysis how visitors use the website. The information created by Google Analytics about the use of our website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on their servers. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of our website, preparing reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. It may be refused the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Alternatively the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on may be utilized. According to Polish and European law, you have the right to know which data pertaining to you bValue has stored. You also have the right to have any incorrect data revised or deleted. From 25 May 2018, the data protection law in the EU also gives you the right to withdraw the consent at any time, limit the processing and use of the data, to file an objection and to have the data transferred. If it is found that there has been a breach of the provisions on the protection of personal data, there is the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. Additionally, you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority.
