In a strategic move, bValue Growth, a growth equity fund focused on high-growth and profitable companies in the CEE region, has acquired a 69% share in Hostersi, a leading Polish provider of cloud migration and 24/7 cloud infrastructure maintenance services. This marks the first major transaction for bValue Growth – the third fund of bValue – which targets investments of €5-15 million in small and medium-sized enterprises. With a capital of approximately €80 million, the fund is approaching its final close.

Hostersi, founded in 2007, has grown to become a premier provider of cloud migration and 24/7 cloud infrastructure maintenance services, partnering with major cloud providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. The strategic vision for Hostersi is to further scale the company’s operations, aiming for an annual revenue of €50 million in the near future. This growth will be driven by expanding service offerings, tapping into new customer segments, and pursuing international expansion.

To support this vision, bValue has appointed a supervisory board featuring industry leaders like Maciej Dziergwa, founder of STX Next, and Jakub Skałbania, founder of Netwise, who will provide invaluable guidance and expertise to Hostersi.

bValue, known for successful investments in startups, is now expanding into the private equity market, combining growth equity investments with buy-out transactions. According to Michał Bartosz, partner at bValue Fund, “Hostersi is a business led by a talented team of professionals ready to take advantage of the growing demand for public cloud services.”

Maciej Balsewicz, Founding Partner at bValue Fund, states, “The investment in Hostersi fully aligns with the strategy of bValue Growth, which involves supporting mature companies with dynamic growth and the potential to quadruple in value. We not only provide them with capital for further growth but also offer operational support and advisors who will help them fully realize their potential.”

Tomasz Dwornicki, founder and CEO of Hostersi, expresses excitement about the collaboration: “We are delighted that bValue will help us realize our ambitions, sharing their expertise in scaling companies and providing access to experienced entrepreneurs who will assist us in accelerating the implementation of our plans by joining our Supervisory Board.”
