Investing in Wellbee: Empowering Mental Wellbeing

Share

We are excited to announce our recent investment in Wellbee, a leading platform connecting individuals with mental wellbeing specialists. At bValue Fund, we are committed to supporting innovative startups that have the potential to make a positive impact on people’s lives, and Wellbee perfectly aligns with our investment criteria.

Wellbee has established a remarkable marketplace that effectively connects patients with mental health professionals, serving both the B2B and B2C customers. With the rising demand for mental health services and the increasing focus on personal wellbeing, Wellbee is well-positioned to disrupt the industry and provide accessible support to those seeking professional assistance.

Mental wellbeing is estimated to be worth EUR 1,2bn in Poland alone and over 120bn worldwide. At the same time Polish National Health Fund estimates there is 1,2m people in Poland suffering from depression, with just about a half diagnosed and actively treated. Even more striking, according to annual research made by UCE Research, share of people in Poland in 2023 with at least one depressive symptom rose to 72,8%, up from 61,4% in 2022. This figure shows how important is both early treatment and easy access to mental wellbeing solutions, and Wellbee is a perfect tool to fulfil this important role. Furthermore, we believe that the post-pandemic outlook is even stronger, as the popularization of mental wellbeing went mainstream.

“We are highly impressed by the Wellbee team’s expertise and their impressive growth metrics. They have shown admirable progress in building responsible and sustainable business within the mental health landscape. We believe in their ability to increase their share of this dynamic market and to drive meaningful change so needed in the mental health space.”

Maciej Balsewicz, Founder & Managing Partner at bValue Fund

“With this new investment, we are excited to further develop our platform and expand our reach. Wellbee is well-positioned to address the increasing demand for mental health services. The additional funding will allow us to enhance our offerings, onboard more specialists, and accelerate our growth, enabling us to serve a larger customer base.”

Paweł Chrzan, Co-Founder at Wellbee

We are proud to support Wellbee as they navigate the growing mental wellbeing market. With their impressive growth metrics and innovative approach, we are confident in their ability to create long-term changes, as we hope to provide Wellbee the tools for their continued success and impact in the mental health sector.
